Simulation of a customer application with an Apiro linear robot

Depending on customer requirements, various applications are set up in the igus Customer Testing Area in order to be able to subsequently make a statement regarding feasibility. In this particular use case, the focus was not on testing the suction gripper, but on maintaining the cycle time with a special gantry system. The special feature of this robot configuration is the X-axis, to which an Apiro worm gear was attached instead of the typical toothed belt axis.
