A SCARA robot from igus, known for its precise and fluid movements, works in combination with an innovative flow gripper. This duo has the task of transporting a circuit board. The transport process uses the traditional pick-and-place method, which is widely used in the automation industry. The blank is first carefully picked up before being transported to the desired location and placed there. This process requires a high degree of precision and dexterity, which is ensured by the smooth movements of the SCARA robot and the efficient operation of the flow gripper.

A compact, lightweight and low-cost automation solution for medical and laboratory applications. With stepper motors, self-lubricating plastic bearings, lead screw assemblies and plastic cable carriers, the application is grease-free, smooth-running and quiet.

The core is a compact gantry robot with two linear Z-axes with gear racks that include cable carriers. The linear axes are controlled via inexpensive D7 motor controllers. The Z-axes are also independent of each other, and each can move to different heights. The Z-axes have a hollow square profile over which the materials can be transported directly.

With this desktop solution, you can pipette directly from test tubes. But it can also be used to automate Petri dishes or other laboratory equipment.

Automation is essential for optimizing operating processes and ultimately for increasing competitiveness. There are many automation solutions in injection molding processing. With the IAP1 sprue picker, we provide a cost-effective entry into the world of process automation. The picker engages laterally in the stripper and ejector molds of injection molding machines. Subsequent separation and further manual handling tasks are completely eliminated, allowing more economical production. The picker is particularly well suited for automation and retrofitting of small injection molding machines and allows sprues to be removed and separated in a very confined space. Fast payback after just a few months. The sprue picker automates the removal and separation of sprues in the injection molding machine. Manual work by hand is thus completely eliminated, the entire work process is accelerated and production is more economical.
