Pick-and-place robots for efficient timber handling

TWIN 600DL

Pick and place robot featuring dual working heads. Designed to handle material range from 2 to 6 metres and maximum weight of 7 kg. The individual toothed belt axles are each controlled by a D1 motor control unit. A penumatic vacuum suction system from Schmalz was chosen to pick up the workpieces.

This meant that a low-cost solution could be implemented and the investment paid for itself in a short time.
