Protecting moving cables safely
Especially in multi-axis robots with many different motion sequences, cables can quickly get caught and damaged. To prevent this, igus triflex energy chain systems can be used.
In contrast to the usual energy chain, the triflex can be moved multi-dimensionally and offers a high degree of flexibility for complicated movements, even in the 6th axis. A rotation of approx. ± 10° per chain link in the longitudinal axis is possible.
