Automated quality assurance for smartphones

This application example illustrates how processes in quality control for smartphones can be automated. For this purpose, an igus room gantry was equipped with a 2-finger vacuum gripper. With the help of an additional input pen mounted on the gripper, the robot can bring the smartphone into the correct position and then test the quality of the functions and touchscreen.
