WALT - the painting robot
The painting robot WALT, developed by Endless Robotics, can paint interior walls much faster and more efficiently than a human. Ideally, it can be used as a painter's and varnisher's assistant and take over the repetitive, monotonous process steps of the painting process, while the human can focus on the important steps.
Construction
Walt's base is equipped with wheels that control its movement. The upper part consists of an igus toothed belt axle on which a spray gun is mounted for painting. Thanks to its modular design, it can be easily assembled and disassembled for transport.
