Gluing application with the igus SCARA

It does not always have to be a gantry when it comes to gluing applications. If the workpiece to be glued is rather compact, the SCARA can be the better choice. At this year's HMI we were able to demonstrate this robot cell and show how an RBTX gluing complete system can look.

The application consists of a Robocube robot cell with igus SCARA robot including iRC control. A syringe dispensing system from our partner LOCTITE was used for the gluing process.
