The vibratory bowl developed by RBTX is used to feed small components to the robot. Vibrations are generated by an oscillating electromagnetic solenoid with configurable frequency, amplitude, and full/half-wave shape. In the process, the components make a small throwing movement in the conveying direction with each vibration, which is referred to as micro-throwing. The conveyor thus enables reliable, material-friendly transport of the components to the robot.<br><br>This is a study without CE and documentation.

To ensure reliable feeding of small components to the robot, so-called bowl feeders are often used. Vibration-generated oscillations ensure that the components to be transported start to make small bouncing movements in the direction of conveyance, known as micro-throwing.

The vibratory bowl feeder can be used in automated assembly systems as well as in manual operation with hand-held screwdrivers. This makes it versatile and enables reliable feeding of components in various production environments.

In this video, we present an advanced solution for the automated assembly of ball bearings in production. The setup of the gantry system and the integration of the Epson Scara are shown, as well as the operation of the rotary conveyor and the Variobotic shaker cameras for precise detection and positioning of the ball bearing components.
