Conveyor Placing with Soft Gripper and Vision

This customer test video demonstrates the power of the free computer vision system that comes with igus Robot Control. Using a pneumatic finger-gripper and a low-cost delta robot, we are able to hit a moving target with the workpiece. This configuration is perfect for high-speed packaging of irregular or fragile items, like food. In this case, we didn't need to design custom fingers to manipulate the vial, like we would have with a traditional parallel gripper.
