Questo esempio applicativo del produttore di sistemi di visione 3D Mech Mind dimostra come i sistemi di telecamere intelligenti possono essere implementati nei processi di gestione della produzione.

Nella scatola blu, gli alberi degli ingranaggi giacciono uno sopra l'altro non ordinati. Affinché il robot li raccolga correttamente ogni volta, la telecamera deve riconoscere la posizione e trasmettere queste informazioni al robot. L'UR3e posiziona quindi le parti in un dispositivo per l'ispezione. Se il controllo qualità ha esito positivo, le parti vengono smistate.
